Diving equipment![]() CUUEG maintains its own store of equipment for use in pool training and for hire by members to use on branch dives. This means people can dive with us without having to commit to buying all their own (expensive) equipment. The only items of kit that an individual needs to own are a drysuit, mask, wetboots and fins (although we do have some masks and fins for hire). The club does have some wetsuits, but we don't recommend these for UK diving. For advice on what to look for when buying personal kit, take a look at our Basic Equipment Guidelines. The club's kit is looked after by the Equipment Officer. |
Air cylinders![]() Cylinders are filled with air using the compressor owned and maintained by the Cambridge 240 branch. If you are interested in helping with cylinder runs and/or becoming a compressor operator for the club, get in touch with the Air Officer. |
Nitrox![]() CUUEG has the oxygen and equipment to allow qualified gas blenders to mix nitrox for use by qualified divers.
