Skill Development Courses

The BSAC offers a range of Skill Development Courses (SDCs) to further specific areas of training. For full information on all courses please visit the BSAC website. Some of the courses are run on a regional or national level, while others, namely the Oxygen Admin Course, First Aid for Divers, and the Nitrox Workshop can be run “in-house”. There is a nominal fee for these courses, to cover registration and to buy a supply of biscuits, probably around £10-£15, and they normally last one day.
Note the Oxygen Administration course is a compulsory part of the Dive Leader course.
The dates of this year's courses can be found on the calendar or by contacting the training officer.
